Creating and Trimming Roofs

I'm trying to recreate a roof and am having trouble with it as it is a peculiar shape.

Probabily best to start with what I have:

The first issue is that the roof is disconnected at highlighted square 1 even though this section of the roof is drawn as a single part:

How can I do correct this?

The second issue is to do with highlighted square 2.  Because the roof is on different levels (pitch up to main building and section previously described) I've had to do this in two parts (they are also different levels too).

So, how do you trim the roofs together so that I don't get one roof pitch under the other?  I want to attach the wall to the roof but at the moment it wont let me.

Since this is quite a complex shape, this is what it's supposed to look like:

Can you share the model?

Model them separately and them join them.  If it's an over-frame condition, that's how they will build it in the field.  

...if it is an over-frame, the gable roof is probably going to look exact like you have shown.

PM is fine but sharing a stripped down model with maybe just the roof here would give a fair chance for others to look at as well.

Assuming there is no easy stripdown function which I should have used, I've been through and manually deleted all the features and attached file.

it is a single roof by footprint

cut a small segment and uncheck  the slope for it..
