Creating a sheet order parameter

We have sheets from surveyors and whoever else named weird things like "1 of 1" or whatever that we want to include in our plan set in a certain location in the set. I have created a shared parameter called sheet order I was trying to use as an instance parameter to manually reorder the sheets and while I can insert that shared parameter into my schedule... it doesn't populate with values. Does anyone know how to do this? Or have other solutions? Thanks.

Create a Project Parameter using the Shared Parameter you created. Assign it to the Sheet Category. Select and Right-Click on Sheets in the Project Browser, then select Browser Organization from the Drop-Down, go to Sheets tab and click on "New"  to create a new Organization Scheme.  Filter, Sort and Group using the Project Parameter you created and added to the Sheet Category

Have you tried it?

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
