Creating a Property / Boundary Line in Sectional and Elevation View

HI guys,

I am not sure what is the best way to create a property line verging my site, so that it is visible on sectional and elevation views

The property Line function is only useful for plan views.

So I created a non-room bounding wall (across all levels) along the property line and use filter to make that into a dashed line that only shows on specific view templates (elevation and section)

Filter is specified to hide all patterns and and surface is invisible. Only Cut lines is replaced with a dashed line

And I modified a wall tag to show property lines when I tag it to the wall.

May I ask if there is a better way to show boundary lines other than this method?  (without using wall element?)

I would like to use Revit way instead of drawing detailed lines.

Only problem I find is that I could not dimension from the grids to the wall edge..

Thanks

You can use a mass to present the property volume in 3d.

I have a few other lines within the site - such as setback and green buffer line. Can I use mass within a mass? Or can I model a mass with a void

How about a fence?

Half-kidding.

Does it need to be modeled? You say elevations/sections after all. What purpose does it serve? Is it just a reference to pull dimensions to/from?

Create different masses so it easier to control their graphics.
