Hello everybody!
I'm trying to create a profile by the path (trajectory), but if the path has a slope, then the profile turns.
Is it possible to make the lower face of the profile always remain parallel to the horizontal plane?
Or maybe there is another tool which can help me to create a custom profile along the trajectory?
Thank you
I think you have to use different profiles for different segments - there's no 'always vertical' option for profiles.
Or maybe a Swept Blend can do the trick...
Instead of Sweep, try with Swept Blend. One profile at the beginning, another profile at the end.
Hi @snezhka988
Thanks a lot for posting your question to the forums! Have the solutions suggested by @Simon_Weel @Alfredo_Medina helped with your issue?
We look forward to hearing back from you with more information so we can help you as a community!

@Simon_Weel @Alfredo_Medina Thank you all very much and sorry for such a long answer! I have analyzed the proposed options, but unfortunately it does not completely solve my problem.
But I want to share the problems and limitations of Revit that I had to face while solving this task:
1. Swept blend cannot be created along multisegmented line
2. It is not possible to save the vertical position of the profile using ordinary sweep
3. Several sloped segments created by the sweep are not able to connect
So I come to the conclusion that without without changing the geometry or adding transition areas, this will not work.
Nevertheless, thank you again for spending your time and I hope my experience will be useful to someone in the future.
Wait, don't give up.
Some forms simply cannot be done in the generic templates. that's when we switch to an adaptive template. It's not difficult. Do you want to try again?
