Creating 3D roof tiles on Revit LT

Hello everyone,

I`m starting to use Revit LT and I`m struggling to create a 3D roof tiles on it.

The Revit LT doesn`t has the "Mass & Site" and the "Beam System" tools and this is the result I get when I try using the "Sloped Glazing" tool.

Is there another way to create the roof tiling with the correct tile joint cutting like this one on Revit LT?

Thanks.

Do your Revit LT have ability to read adaptive? See if you are able to edit this sample.

This this done by you using Sloped Glazing?

How?  Looks like it was done via a Pattern-Based Curtain Panel on a Divided Surface. How did you do it in LT? By arranging a bunch of Instances of a Tile Family on the Roof? If so, I got to hand it to you. It doesn't too shabby.  You can easily fill in those gaps the hip tiles won't cover with with custom-cut tiles  -- no different that they would do it in the field.

Thanks for your answer syman2000.

I`m able to open adaptive objects but not to edit them.

Thanks for your answer barthbradley,

I found this family online and I did little changes on it.

I was thinking about this option of fill the gaps with custom-cut tiles. I will check it out this option.
