create slats in slanted wall

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out how to duplicate wooden slats along a slanted frame. I could copy one by one but I wouldn't learn Revit in a smart way.

As you may see in picture I've sticked the current working plane on the slanted wooden frame, but when trying to apply array to one slat, it duplicates slats along one of X, Y, Z planes but not on the current plane.

Any clue?

Thanks!

Not sure if I understand. Could this just be about unchecking Constrain and checking Disjoin on the Options Bar?

Make sure the Workplane is Set to the correct Reference Plane ( one that you created and gave a name) before creating the array.

You can use a sloped glazing:  Mullions = Slats, with Empty system panels.

Hi, your reply was the one that made me check the option bar better: I've seen that while arraying, there was a check on Option Bar "constrain" that forced the move along workplane lines and not along the wooden frame. Uncheking this solved my problem. I am feeling pretty dummy, tho :enttäuschtes_Gesicht:

Thanks a lot for the tip!

This is an interesting option! I'll try this as altenative :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:

Thanks!
