Create skylight

Hi,

I want to create Skylight using custom al profile and need to use in detail drawing as bellow. Should able to show in open position as bellow.

Could someone help with the steps to follow?

need to know using 2D drawing of AL profile to creating a window.

You know, Velux has got families just like this that you can download for free. 

...do you want a Detail or a Model Family -- or both in one?

As I mentioned before; Velux offers Revit Families. You can download them for free directly from their website. Download and reverse-engineer one of their families.  That's what I would do -- and have done for years.  No better way to learn, IMO.
