Create Parts from Roof (bug?)

Revit 2016/2017.

Create Parts tool works on Roofs with no slopes or with a single slope. Any Roof types.

Does not work with assembly Roofs having more than on slopes.

But does work on single layered Roofs.

Is it a bug or by design?

It's by design.

Revit add-ins: CAD Purger (delete UNUSED and selected line patterns & line styles, find and delete CAD), Rooms To Spaces, Schedule Utilities (Calculated Values/Combined Parameters To Tags, reuse view filter rules in schedule filters), View Filter Manager at Revit Apps Store

Okay this 'by design' behavior is certainly buggy.
