Create Pad Like Cutouts with graded region?

Hi,

I am trying to phase topo across threes distinct phases  graded region seems to be the right tool for this but i am having a difficult time to create pad like cutouts when placing points and is ending up being a big mess.

is there a better work around to achieve pad like cut outs with graded region?

is there a way to convert imported CAD geometry into a toposurface directly?

or is there a better way to phase topo?

Try with Split Surface.

Thank You for your suggestion, I did give split surface a try, creates two issues , one with scheduling and second when merging back into a single surface.any suggestions?

  1. Please define what you mean by "cut out", then.
  2. Yes, it is possible to create the topography directly from the CAD geometry.
