Create door Jambs sitting at core structure layer in Door family

Hi everyone,
I'm working on creating double door jambs (2-2x4 or 2-2x6) on each side of a door family. The goal is to have the 2D double stud jambs positioned correctly at the core structural layer of the wall when the door is placed in a project.
However, I've run into an issue — in most cases, the jambs don’t sit correctly on the core layer when I flip the door or change the orientation of the host wall.

Do you have any idea on that?

Thanks so much.

Right now, I don't recall the door being able to "read" the wall to adapt to the core layers.

A quick solution I can think of (although it will be more work later) is to lock those jambs to a reference plane, controlled by a dimension with an instance parameter.
This way, you can tell each door whether it needs to move the jambs forward or back.

Yeah. You will need an instance parameter to adjust the door offset off the face of the wall.
