Create custom handrailing

Can someone please explain how I could create handrailing balustrade / posts which have the pattern shown in the attached photo.

Hello, do you know the basic about the tool railing? or you need a class? haha

You can always make it with model in-place if you still havent learned other tools in revit 🙂

I've modified railing families before to create custom patterns, however I'm having trouble with this type since (I think) the profile of the balustrade is not symmetric in the plan orthogonal with the length of system.

i.e. when I created the balustrade (in the shape I want), the following message appeared and the balustrade got deleted:

An error occurred in family and was automatically resolved, but may require review by the family creator. error information: "the constraints of the sketch defining the highlighted element cannot be satisfied." error resolution: delete element(s)
