Hi fellow Revit'ers,
I am trying to setup a view template for a 3D view that shows only one specific linked model. ( i am working on the structural model and got the MEP and several architecture models linked in).
So far i used the following workflow to setup the view to show the "Arch_model_1":
After this you end up with only the selected link visible in this view
However if i cretae a view template from this view change the to another view and apply the view template my model is still visible
Any advice?
Thanks

Hi @pipapongo0909,
Instead of using "Isolate element" option, Try using Settings under Revit Links in Visibility/graphics override box and create view template. I hope this helps.
Hi @pipapongo0909,
Temporary hide / isolate or element hides cannot be integrated into templates.
I suggest that you hide every element of your 3D model section in the V/G dialog box.
Then, still within your template, select the desired revit link in the REvit Links overrides part, and set its visibilities to custom. Then, change its 3D model settings to visible.
This should work.

Hey
If you are using a workshared model, simple solution is to put your links onto a workset and simply turn off all workests apart from the links within the view template.
Hope this helps
I like the solution
And you can integrate the worset display settings into your template.
Much better solution than mine.
