Create a Template From an Existing Files... files size challage

I and my team did a mistake that we have conducted modifications to project temp. (Annotation, Title Blocks, Viewport types, Views/Schedules/Sheets) while we work thought the model.

Then we decide it is an outstanding project temp. we want to use in other projects.

However a created temp. the file is very large size moreover it contacts all the project elements and view.

can anyone help to take this challenge or we have to new create temp? file and repeat the work?

Does the transfer project standards do the tick ? or the same step must do manually?

where can I found a checklist for project temp. ? Temp..jpg

When you create template and copy content from existing project, always check and see if you have a lot of families, materials, views, raster image, dimension styles, text, hatch pattern, linetype, color data, schedule and CAD import. The more stuff you copied over, the bigger the template it will be. So just go thru them and remove duplicates from the template.

thank you, in addition, to delete amilies, materials, views, raster image, dimension styles, text, hatch pattern, line type, colour data, schedule and CAD import. delete all elements on 3d view .
