Hi everyone.

I have created new families as component and now I want to define a new library in order to put them there(have some components with same custom family name and different type names exactly same as other Revit libraries).

Does someone know how can I do that?

Not sure what you have done. Have you created some families by using Component>Model In-Place or have you create loadable families some where on your computer?

What do you mean with define library? You  want to store them on your harddrive somewhere and be easy accessible from Revit?

If you have loadable families on your computer somewhere you can create a folder  and subfolders, move/copy the families to there and then add that folder to Revit. One way of doing it is going to  File > Options > File Locations > Places, and add that folder to the list.

If you have in place families you can save them as loadable families.

(when creating new families and you expect to want to use them in future projects you generally create them  in the family editor from the start)

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
