Create a lot of multiple "duplicate as dependent" views in a few commands or with a script

Hello everybody,

I do have a project with multiple levels and these levels (18 levels) are divided in multiple building parts/ scopes (8 parts).
Because of the different view templates, I need to create 24 sheets for each level of these building parts.

I need to duplicate every floor into 8 views "as dependant"

What is the quickest way to create these "dependant as" views?

Thanks

There is a way to do this with Dynamo. I remember doing this for the previous office I worked for. There is a node that can duplicate views, with options such as "duplicate", "with detailing", and "dependent". Maybe it's part of a package. Sorry for not giving specific information, but this gives you at least a direction where to search. I am sure that if you post the same question in the Dynamo forum you will get better and faster results.

I haven't had time to get out here recently but, if you're still needing this info I can address one aspect of your question, ie, "In a few commands":

Assign View templates to the different "Parent" views that you will want to create this structure for.

Set up one of the "Parent" views with all of the dependent views (cropped to the desired area) that you need for that view type/direction (plan view for example).

Right-click on the parent view that you used to create the dependents...

Select "Apply Dependent views..." from the menu

<Control> select all of the views that you want to create the same dependent view structure for in the dialog (any with the same view orientation will be shown, Ceiling and Floor Plans for any plan view for instance).
