Create a Kerb using Adaptive component

Hi all,

I have search through the forum and i couldn't see any answer to my issue.

I am trying to create a kerb following a road (which varies in height and in width).

Just so you know i have tried modelling that kerb with various solution(fascia, slab edge and in place component) but with always an issue making the end result not usable.

My issue here is to make an extrusion of a profile to follow a path. but i need to have my beginning and end profile to follow the global Z(exactly like a fascia or a vertical roof edge).

see below a screenshot of what i got up to but i can't get those profile to follow global Z. Any idea on how to do that?

Set the profile adaptive family to always vertical.

Hi @ToanDN  thanks for the reply.

It helps to keep the starting profile vertical but the profile rotates for an unknown reason after the second points. And the end profile is not vertical anymore:

Nest the profile and keep in mind where you host the profile matters ("on the nodes of a divided curve" isn't similar to "on a point hosted on a curve"

Hi @RDAOU ,

I am not sure i understand what you are saying about "nest the profile" Could you explain a little more about that? As for the host placement issue i understand and appreciate your advice. For curved area, i am using in place component with a swept bend(using a profile family).

To explain further my case: i have an angle between two line meeting each-other both having a different slop.
