Our outsourced IT maintenance Co decided I only needed  Xeon   E5-1603 v3 2.8GHz  for my new custom built comp Windows 10 32 GB RAM

old was Intel i5-4590  3.30 GHz  8GB RAM  which was crashing

the New seems slower over all,  not pleased

Who's Right ?

wasn't concerned with rendering for Architectural purposes,  this is just for the structural model

What do you mean by " Seems slower" ?

Test one file on your computer and some other

computer with previous config..

note down time to open and some commands.. and then come to a conclusion..

Note: If you are accessing file from a server ( Office central location )

then the file transfer rate is fixed.. you cannot increase that speed using faster computer...

Better computer will only help while working on the file, not on saving time or accessing the file....

Cheers!
