Corrupt file - Assertion failed: line 561 of UndoMgrInterface.cpp

Revit 2018 crashes trying to open this file.

'C 14-Nov-2017 16:29:05.955;  10:< Assertion failed: line 561 of d:\ship\2018_px64\source\revit\revitdb\undo\UndoMgrInterface.cpp

Please report this to the Dev team and let me know how this might be avoided while I wait for a fix, hopefully in 2018.3

Thank you for your posting @boostyourbim. Try this file and see if this helps.

I couldn't see the same lines as you in journal though. Did this happen after Undo command?

Hi,

Thank you for your quick reply and repairing the file!

However, I need to understand if there is any way I can avoid this corruption. If it is caused by the contents of the file or the API command I am developing, I need that resolved before I release this product to my customers.

Regards

Harry

Is it possible to get more information on this issue? We're experiencing this problem with a project on BIM360 and have been unable to resolve it. Do we need to send the project somewhere to have it fixed, or is there a way we can do this ourselves?
