correcting dimension during submital

Lets say,

I recognized a dimensional error in interior wall layout at the time of project submital. is there any way to avoid and correct that error or to hide the mistake in the last moment.

Basically, I am asking if we can make that dimensional value to exactly look like same as desired value intead of what has been modleled (incorrect one), without altering the modeled layout of those interior walls.

Kindly let me know the procedure to do that.

Sure. If you want to go there replace the dimension with another, user-entered dimension (as Text) -- PRECEEDED BY A UNICODE CHARACTER.

it is taking only non numeric values but i want to change numeric value to another numeric value , which it does not take without moving the wall.

lets say if my wall to wall dimension is 20' and I want to replace it by 21'.

is there any solution for this?

Yes as mentioned by @barthbradley.

The whole premise on not having the ability to override dimensions was to ensure you are modelling correctly and all changes in Revit influence quantities/volumes/schedules/etc.

Therefore when trying to override you need to give an indication for the reason to the reader which makes perfect sense.

However, there has since been provided a workaround which allows users to get around this by adding in US Unit Separator (Segment Separator) before the amended value which allow this to work without the need for descriptive text.

Right Click in the Replace With Text Box before the Value and add US Unit Separator (Segment Separator)

Did you not see the emphasis on "PRECEEDED BY A UNICODE CHARACTER" in my post above.

"user-entered dimension (as Text) -- PRECEEDED BY A UNICODE CHARACTER".
