Copy/monitored grid lines not working as expected.

New to Revit. We have an architectural model and a structural model. Added grids and levels to the Architectural model and copy/monitored them into the Structural model. In the architectural model I have vertical grids with the label bubble at the top and horizontal grids have the label bubble to the left. They show up the same in the Structural model. But when I link the structural model to the Architectural model to produce GA drawings, the bubble is at the bottom and right and I don't seem to be able to do anything about it. Also, they don't cut off with the crop view tool. I can't manipulate them at all. I'd be fine to just turn them off and draw a center line but I'm not sure how to do that either.

Sounds like they were drawn and then the toggle was checked on/off on each end (to be opposite how it was generated).  Grids will always remember how they were first created.  So if you draw it, then "flip" it by toggling the bubbles on and off, every view after that showing them will revert to the original created method.

The best way to fix that problem would be to draw the grid, if its wrong, delete it and then redraw it the other direction.

I suspect that is why they are the wrong way, someone just toggled the ends on/off.  When you create Grids in revit the default bubble will show up on the second point.

If you already have grids in the architectural model then you can turn off grids in the linked structural model.  If you want to show structural grids they way structural views were setup then set the link display to by linked view.
