Copy/Monitor the elements

Hey All,

I have problem in copy/monitor of the specific elements. When I inserted the Architectural Revit link in new construction project file, then when I wanted to copy/monitor the elements, the Structural foundation elements can not be selected. Even I checked the coordination setting and there is no elements under Ignore categories. How can I copy/monitor structural foundation elements into new construction template file. Would you please help me. I deeply appreciate it.

You can't. But you can TAB-Select and Clipboard Copy/Paste them.

Would you please let me know What is the problem? Why I can't copy/monitor those specific elements?

Other elements are selectable in copy/monitor except those foundation elements.

Structural Foundation category is not among those can be made available for Copy/Monitor. Either copy paste, or use Structural columns instead of Structural foundation.

I have no idea why. It's just the way it is.  There are workarounds though.

Thanks for your reply. But I have the same problem with copying/monitoring the other elements like the Roof and some windows. It's not just for foundation elements. I'm looking for a solution to copy/monitor those elements that can not be selected through multiple selections.

There is no solution for some categories. They simply cannot be copy/monitored.
