Hello Guys, when trying to copy and paste all rooms, dimensions and spaces I would like to easily copy and place in the Master project from a linked file where them are already fully realized. Anyone knows how to do without remake the effort again? Just because You cannot simply done because You need to open and detach the linked files, so you cannot have Master project fully opened becaus wall references of linked file are then hided from detaching?
Anyone could know?
Thank you very much for their help.

You could save the items as a Group in the Master Project and you can then from the Project Browser save out the Group and Detail Group (dimensions) to location on your PC and then Load them into your other project.
In most instance if they are already there it is best simply to utilise the linked information in the View by using Visibility Graphics and View Templates rather than modelling twice.
But when selecting similar aligned dimensions Revit says that non of this element could be grouped
And, If I group all together dimensions are not taken into the group....
You would need to open the Project you want to copy from and create the group also you may need to use CTRL to add dimensions to the group. you are not going to be able to de this from the Link within another project.
COPY Rooms?
What about making the Link Room Bounding and creating Rooms in the Parent Project that are bounded by the Walls in the Link?
Another option might be set the Link to display to BY LINK VIEW (via Parent View VGOs) and select a Link View Name that displays the information you want to see in the Parent View. No copying necessary.
Yes I am discussing with my colleague, but he rather prefers to have a sheet model with annotations whereas I substanly think that is better or quickly to have a linked view modified.
