Copy ALL from one revit File to Another

I need to copy everything from one Revit Architectural model to another file while maintaining the same coordinates. Is there a simple way to do this?  I also need to copy all Existing, New and Demo too... Thanks! The reason for this is the original project was created using the wrong template, so we are trying to copy everything into the correct template.

Save-As new .rvt, Link new .rvt into Template file, Bind in the Link, Save as new Project.

It only works if there is one phase.  More than one phases they will merge.

@advandes  What about Transfer Project Standards from the template to the project file?

OP said Existing, New & Demo--no other Phases mentioned.

So it should work if Demo happens in New Construction Phase, correct?

You're kind of beyond the "Template" stage.

Existing + New  = two Phases.  No?

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around why the template matters at this stage of the project.  Maybe I'm missing something obvious here, but why is it necessary to copy an entire project (fully developed by the sound of it) over to a different rvt created from a different rte?  Anybody?

Maybe the fonts are not that nice.

Thank you for the simple approach. I was not aware that Binding was an option in Revit. It should also be noted that the demo will not transfer, and that everything copied over will reside on the current phase. This project was in a very early stage and this process worked perfect since it was caught early on. Thanks again...

No we are not. We caught this early. We had one door on the demo phase, and this transfer had to take place.

Don't forget to Acquire Coordinates from the Link before Binding.  You did mention wanting to preserve those as well.
