Coordinating views across multiple Revit models - 26DegreesSoftware Alternative

I'm working on a project with ten Revit models and a Revit Detail model.  This model holds all our universal details that are contained in each model.  I'd like to be able to coordinate views across multiple Revit models.  I've been recommended to 26 Degrees Software.  Are there any alternatives out there or will Autodesk one day implement this functionality?

I am not sure I understand what you mean by coordinate views.  If you are talking about details updating in all files this is capable with out any tools see these AU Sessions.

If you are talking about linking view bubbles across different files then Revolution Design has a tool called Autolink that does this.

Thanks for the link!  I'm not concerned about the detail themselves updating as we'll have one true source Detail File, however my concern is having a live intelligent tag that can reference those details from another file.  The 26 Degrees Software allows, "ViewAQC is a QAQC application designed for referencing and coordinating Revit sheet views of a multimodel, multi-building Revit project. ViewAQC does not require any duplication of any Revit views at all. Instead, ViewAQC allows any Revit view on any sheet, in one Revit model, to be referenced into any other Revit model. These Revit views include any drafting or detailing views, 2D or 2.5D plan, section, elevation model views and any 3D model isometric or perspective views. Thus, a callout tag of a “typical condition” from Model A can be placed into Model B, Model C, Model D and will automatically update as changes occur in Model A’s sheet views."

That sounds very familiar to the Revolution Design tool  Autolink

View AQC, Revolution Design Autolink (part of Workflow package) and Parallax Team Tools (apps) each offer a solution for shared detail referencing and management.

View AQC is based on an external "database" of details while Autolink requires all related files to be linked to each other so it can search the links for the detail/view/sheet reference it infers from the naming. Autolink allows you to type view reference "language" into text or fields in a schedule which AQC does not deal with. Its focus is on providing consistent annotation that references external details.

My understanding is Parallax's solution is more similar to AQC than Autolink but I haven't used it yet.

If you care to see a demonstration of ViewAQC, let me know and we can setup a live demo. Cheers…
