Converting RFA to SAT distorts 3D Texts

I'm currently working on bespoke Revit families that requires very tiny 3D Texts. The 3D Texts are so small that I had use a workaround in Revit to achieve them. I created a family that started with a Plant category, nested into another Plant category, then to a face-based Generic Model category. That worked on the Revit end.

However, some of our partners want the files in STP format. So I would export the families to SAT, then convert them to STP or STEP using tools like SolidEdge or Inventor.

All the geometries translate appropriately except the 3D Texts. They either disappear or get distorted. I have attached images of what the RFA and SAT files looks like. The same thing happens when I tried the Revit-Inventor Interoperability tool that sends the file directly from Revit to Inventor without SAT.

Can someone recommend what I can do to overcome this challenge. It's exhausting enough that I had to hack my way through this in Revit, only to face a new challenge after exporting to 3D CAD formats.
