I am new to CAD and have never used Revit in my life. I don't have the Revit Program, but one of our jobs needs the Drawings to be in 3D Revit.
I Was wondering if there is any way that I can do the drawings in CAD and convert it to Revit, or if I'm going to have to buy the Revit Program?
You can Link / Import 2D and 3D CAD drawings to Revit. However, they will lose their 'intelligence' when they come in. Linking a 2D CAD drawing would only be helpful as an underlay to guide your work in Revit. That is the approach that I would take.
I think you need to closely inspect the job criteria. I highly suspect what is being requested isn't something just in Revit format. Just as taking a picture of a building and referencing the image file into an AutoCAD DWG file doesn't constitute an AutoCAD drawing of a building, "drawing" something in CAD then importing into Revit won't constitute the Revit model being asked for.
