Convert Mass In Place Element

Question is best asked in video. Basically I drew a mass in place on a wall to represent plywood rips and I want to create an element so that I can assign material and element name for (a) looks/drawing and (b) bill of materials. Revit file attached.

I notice you're using Beam and Column Families to frame your wall. Why not do the Mass Element as another Structural Framing Family as well?  

Also, you can build that Wall as a Curtain Wall Family with all the Studs as Mullions.

I used Metal Wall Framer and that's how the pluggin was setup as far as families go.
