Convert generic annotation to detail item

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to convert a generic annotation family to a detail item?

Export the Generic Annotation family to a DWG and import it in the Detail family. Then either trace over or explode and change elements to the proper object styles.

You will lose all of the parameters and constraints.  No way around it.
