Controlling Sweep Path Angle

Hi all! I'm looking for advice on controlling the the angle and length of a sweep path using a reference line. The family attached works for some angles but then disassociates from the ref line after I return to 90 degrees.

The length doesn't work consistently  - is there a way of directly locking it to the length of ref line? I've tried adding a length parameter to the ref line and also directly to the path line - it works a for a few angles then will randomly decide to not work.

I have 13 different conditions I would like this family to cover and would be grateful if I didn't have to make 13 different families - thanks for any for any insight!

I'm not use what you are trying to do, but if it's a cornice you are doing, why don't path your sweep profile along the edge of the actual architectural element (e.g. wall, ceiling, cabinetry) in the project.

FWIW: Revit has a Wall Sweep tool.

Yes, normally I would but I need to model each precast piece. I’m using the curtain wall family in an unorthodox way but the I’ve encountered similar issues with angle controls in other families as well.

Cheers!

Well,  I'm sure there's a solution to your dilemma beyond "cheers"...although I don't discourage "cheers" in moderation.

Bottoms up!
