!! Control the visibility of the elements based on a parameter

Hello all,

My previous colleague had assigned a shared parameter (text) to all the elements in the project in order to indicate the construction phase of each element.

I want to make some export in Navisworks for each phase.

1. How can I check which element dont have yet the phase information?

2. How can I control the visibility of the elements deepening on the phase information that is assigned to them?

Thank you in advance!

Revit already assigns elements a Phase.  Phase and Phase Demolished.  What does your Text Parameter do that they don't do?

...in fact, there is a whole bunch of intelligence built into Revit for Phasing.

@barthbradley  ,

We have already use this, for new construction / demolished and temporary elements.

The information that we assigned with the phase parameter is if it will be Phase A,B,C etc

Huh? Are these like sub-phases or something?  Nevertheless, rule-based filters are super easy to set up. Where are you struggling exactly?

@barthbradley ,

Yes we have some sub-phases. You are right, I need to use filters for this job..I didn't had it in mind.
