Does anyone know how to create a Contour Map that displays the different elevations as different colors. I dont want the contour lines to change color, I want the fill between the contour lines to show up as a shaded color, similar to a heat map. Below is an example of what I would like to create in Revit. Is this even possible? Or do you have any other ideas of which program would work best to create such a contour map of the roofs on a home?
As @ToanDN said, using filter is the full Revit way to do this
Otherwise, there's a free plugin you should love for many tasks

Try it and come back here to show us your results, please ![]()
You can try create roof with 1000mm section and stack it on top of one another. Set the roof on plan as transparent. Change your color as consistent. Result is you will get contour intersecting it will display different color.
