Constraints

I have a lot of walls that seem to have constraints which I can't find. ATM this is preventing wall heights from adjusting when I tell them to do so.

The workaround is to edit their profiles, at which point i get a warning of the constraint being broken.

Why is this happening to most of my walls?

The picture below shows that the walls have no visible constraints.  The highlighted wall's height seems to be locked.

See if the walls are Attached to floors or roofs. If so, Detach and edit their heights.

Firs thing I tried. Not the issue. Detaching top/base doesn't do a thing.

Hi @jfjacques

You tried this, select the wall and detach, then detach all.

**** me. Thanks yeah I wasn't pressing that button.

What does DA do though? Is it required to actually detach the top/base or is it detaching other things?

At the same time, there was no indication that the wall was attached in any way.

It is used Detach All, because many times the wall is linked with other floors, and to be pressed a specific floor uses Detach All.

With respect to your second query, when using Detach All only the wall is separated from the floor.

Third consultation, this union occurs when you allow it yourself when creating a floor.
