Consolidating View Templates

View Templates again...

We have multiple linked models into a consolidated federated model. The Linked models originally had the same View Templates but these have been 'changed' by users over time with small variations etc individually so that now some objects/elements have different names (Clearance Zone versus Clearance ZoneS for example).

Is there a way to compare the same VT across models for inconsistencies apart from physically opening each and listing the different settings?

I'm not understanding how a View Template in one Project would matter to another.

Because we're issuing sheets across the project the templates being applied are not affecting the sheets in the same way.

i don't know of anyway to compare VT's. it would be nice though :-). you may be able to do it with a Dynamo Script?

Detect the file where your templates are as you want them to be.

Open all the other files and transfer the templates from the first file like the image bellow
