Conditional Formatting in Schedule - If/Then

Is there a way to create an if/then forumla in a schedule parameter? I have a door schedule with an existing parameter for a hardware package type. We have three "types" - 1, 2, and 3. I would like to create a new conditional if/then parameter: i.e. if Hardware package type = 1, then the new parameter would = 5, if hardware package type = 2, then the new parameter would = 10, if hardware package type = 3, then the new parameter would = 15. I think this is something Revit should be able to calculate, but I'm not quite sure how to go about doing so.

The new values are called calculated values and the revit help link is as follows:

A link at the bottom of this help article will also lead you to formulating numerical expressions with conditional statements.

Good luck

If you original hardware type is a number or an integer parameter then yes, your formula for the calculated parameter (number or integer): = hardware type * 5.

Almost sounds like you are describing what we do via Key Schedules.
