What is the best way to setup a concrete footer to following the inside of a wall? so that they are aligned? what is the best way to setup a parameter to adjust the dimensions of the footer? can you set it up so the footer generates with the  wall? what if you have a sheet metal wall that goes 2" below the top of the concrete footer can you set this up? so the sheet metal wall is flush with the outside of the footer?

If you are using a Bearing footing, use the parameter called Eccentricity

If you are using a retaining footing, use the parameter called Toe Length or Heel Length and set either of them to zero based on the wall face you wish to have the foundation flush with

those are native out of the box parameters. You do not need to create any. Simple use Wall foundation from the structural tab and apply to walls then adjust parameters as needed
