Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue trying to figure out why this loft isn't working. Essentially it's just a series of circles that get larger in radius and the height increases. For whatever reason, I can't figure out why the first and last shape aren't lofting correctly, they cut in as if the shape was twisted. See image attached.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I simplified your loft a little... I've lofted from the top of your column straight to the top circle, The added a profile to the loft at the same height as the second circle from the top and matched its diameter. seems to have worked fine.
loft from column to top circle
added profile and matched the diameter of the second circle from the top.
Finished column
Admittedly I didn't think of simply adding profiles.
This does work and may be a solution I can work with; however, my only concern is that the profiles it adds are on an angle and not parallel with the group plane thus making it a bit harder to work with. This is obviously of course due to the fact that the first face on the bottom is slanted.
Is there a way to make these profiles parallel with the top face and/or the ground?
Create each profile as 2 semi-circles then you can loft them just fine.
