Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me, I have modelled a diagrid with a mesh facade enveloping it, this has been modelled as a mass. When I turn off 'show massing' the diagrid remains however the mesh wrap disappears. How would I make it so that when I turn off 'show massing' i can still see the mesh? I have attached an image to give an idea of the mesh and diagrid.
Thanks
Jess

There are a couple of approaches
You could use V/G overrides rather than "Show Mass" to get Mass Form to be visible
Even better assign your mesh to a new Mass Subcategory so you can have only that one visible and not all masses in the project
Hope this helps
That looks really cool. Wish I could do something like that, sorry this isn't answering your question!!
Do not use "Show Mass" as it applies to all mass, you have two ways you can go around this:
1.Go to your mass and select the part you don't want to be visible later, and turn off the "visible" parameter off in the properties palette, after you click Finish, you won't see that part again. This is the better solution. Check out attached image.
2.Model them as separate masses and simply right click > Hide in view the mass you don't want to see and render it.
Also, notice that you can + the Mass menu in VG and check out the parts alone, if you create a subcategory like the post above mentioned(Go to object styles and create a subcategory of Mass), you can assign a subcategory to any form inside your mass by simply selecting it and using the subcategory parameter in the properties palette, you can use this to turn the specific subcategory any moment.
