Hi Revit Users,

Our new project-based learning experience is now live! Start now to learn.

Here’s a course where you’ll learn:

  • Learn how various tools can help you articulate your design ideas faster while saving you time later by reducing rework

We’d love to get your feedback on the new learning platform. Feel free to post your feedback in this forum thread.

Hi

I did the "Optimize your workflows with generative Design Using Dynamo" (A-CBCD0003).

Very good one.

However, I was not able to download the image of the graph. When I clicked to download, an error webpage appeared. I want to know if you could share the image with me?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards

Luis de la Parra

The courses seem to be for Civil3D or Infraworks, not Revit.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Thank you for the quick response nevertheless, there was a link in the course that was not working.

Now I discovered another way to download the files. You could try to upload a High-res version of the first image that you provided to me since the text is a bit difficult to read.

I am attaching a screenshot of the broken link.

Kind Regards.

Click on files next to the top of the screen and it’ll download a zip file.

The course states that it’s for Revit 2020 and has you building a wall from points and lines in the first lesson and then creating a roof in the second.  I haven’t gotten beyond the second because the lunchbox package is currently spinning in Dynamo whenever I try and access the Quad Grid By Face node.😤

😁I just finished the Roof lesson in this course, Michael has put together a good body of work here.  The only missing piece is the fact that Lunchbox no longer updates their packages on the Dynamo Package Server, rather you'll have to go to their website to download and install it.  Here is the link to Lunchbox, once I got this package installed I was able to complete this course with out any issues.  Here's an image of my successful completion:  Project 1 CompletionProject 1 Completion

I'm thinking that this could prove useful in paving on terrain.  I'll give this a shot on my next project.

Thank you very much for this course, it is my first time learning Dynamo and the truth is that you have explained it in a very friendly and simple way.
Here is an image of the result !!
