Component Model-in-place does not have materials and finishes?

Hi there. I have an issue with my component model-in-place when I put in some modified monolithic stairs and want to assign the wooden material to it before rendering, it doesn't have a 'Materials and Finishes' on the left hand side to open the material library for selections. I checked that my Autodesk Material Library is already installed and I don't have problem apply materials to other categories like the walls or the floors, only the Model-in-place component doesn't have the option, I think it's somewhere switched off disabled that I'm not aware of. Look forward to your kind help.

@ennujozlagam My model is like this, as you can see from my selected component, it doesn't have the Material and Finishes on the left to choose texture from.

To apply material, you have to go into inplace family editor and then set your material there.

Oh! I sorted it out! Once I clicked open the component - Edit in place, then the Material option shows up:

Now the wood material - Pine is shown. Thanks.
