Complex roof Structure

Hey!

please be kind with me, i'm extremely new with Revit and currently working on a Model for an old House of mine. I do have years of experience in Fusion360 for Hobby Projects, but Revit is quite new for me (less than a Week).

I have a bit of a complex Roof which i struggle to replicate in Revit. There is a normal pointed roof and a second Building which is rotated by 90 degree, a bit lower and offset by half the building length.

Here's a Photo of that Building and the Roof section which i struggle with:

I already managed to get this far by creating the 2 roofs Seperately and then joining them and attaching the Walls to the roofs:

My current Problem is, that i'm clueless how to remove the Roof beneath the other roof. I already googled for quite a bit but can't seem to find a way/solution to achieve this. I suspect it kind of needs to be done with a cut or trim?

Here's the Revit file of my current state: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vchd6qgegyhagzi/Fachwerkhaus.rvt?dl=0

Would be great if someone could give me a hint or show me how to create that Roof properly,...

Thanks!

Cheers Marc

yea, that looks almost correct. Is the roof behind that Wall open as well?

I have a 3D Scan from Canvas, that was converted into Sketchup, which shows in 3D how it should be:

well, you did close the Wall, but what i'm actually struggling with is connection/opening the Roofs on the Inside. I want the part of the Left roof, that is "under" the right roof to be gone, so there is a passage from the one attic to the other.

Cut away part of the roof sketch then.
