Complex family with nested extrusions

I have a somewhat complex family that is made up of several nested extrusions. I have it set up so that as the family is shortened, the visibility of the extrusion turns off, then the next extrusion adjusts with the main family as it is shortened. I have written the formula's in what seems like a million different ways. I've posted about this same project a few times in the past few weeks. It is a framed wall family, and the reason that I chose this method over curtain walls is that each part needs to be scheduled, the wall needs to be able to run past or butt to another wall, the top plates need to move in and out depending on the situation, etc. I have attached the family. Excuse the mess if it seems like there is a lot going on, because there is and it's been built and rebuilt I don't know how many times. It almost works as I would expect it to except that I keep getting constraint errors. I've tried every way to constrain this thing that I can think of and continue to get errors. Help would be very much appreciated.

PS, I've tried to attach the family but it isn't uploading for some reason, I'll try again in a bit. It's only 1.45 MB so it shouldn't be an issue, I'm not sure why it's not uploading but have waited for 10 minutes with no luck.

Try ZIPPING it up using Windows and posting it that way.

Really need to what you've got to be able to advise you properly.

Good Luck.

Yes, I remember your other threads. You're using family parametric arrays for stick framing; right?   Why not Curtain Walls and/or Beam Systems?  So much easier.  Even easier is using Framing Software, such as Strucsoft or AGACAD.  Albeit, there are both expensive add-ins, but if that's what you do for a living, it would probably pay for itself.  I can vouge for both.

Hi @barthbradley , I tried zipping and it still isn't uploading for some reason. Try this link, hopefully this will work. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1DyL1zPU4K0b8WIiWomHHQa9gDTG0uk-7&authuser=kevin.mendenhall%40mosai...

I started to work with the curtain walls to see if that would do everything that I needed them to do but from what I could tell, it didn't look like it would. Imagine a set of engineered truss drawings but for walls instead of trusses. So there would be a sheet for each wall, header information such as sizes, complete cut lists, etc. The top top plate cuts back or extends past the actual wall depending on if the wall butts or runs through. There would be cripples for doors and windows with counts and lengths, etc.

I will look into the add ins that you mentioned. So far, some of the one's that I've seen look like they were designed by guys that have never framed. No offense to them, but I just haven't seen anything that looks the way it would actually frame in the real world. I'm more than happy to experiment with curtain walls some more if you think I could accomplish the things mentioned above with them. They just didn't feel flexible enough to me.
