I am trying to update our old title block which uses a linked jpeg for the company logo. The problem with this is that when i export drawings to DWG & email them out, it means i need to send the logo jpeg too otherwise it doesn't show up. Ideally the logo would be part of the title block family to avoid this.
I thought recreating the logo as a generic annotation family would do the trick, but i cant scale the family small enough to fit onto the title block because of "elements too small on screen" errors. (as small as it will go in the family is still waaay to big for the title block)
Has anyone got any suggestions or alternative ideas?
You could draw the logo in AutoCAD, import the CAD file in a generic annotation family, and load the family in the title block family.
I have the logo as a DWG (exported from the original photoshop file) and it all looks fine until i export the revit sheet as a DWG. In the exported DWG the colour fill on the logo goes all wrong. Il have a play round with it and see if i can mend it.
Sorry, i wasn't clear explaining the issue in my last post,
This is how the logo cad file looks in revit;
This is how the logo looks in the DWG export
How can i fix this?

Wow... better find that font and use text notes then
scale the pic in adobe before import in your family
or draw on it in cad then import it to revit
kindly, assign this as accepted solution if it solve your problem
