Common error with dimension style in revit

Hi everyone,

i have an common error with dimension style in revit that i want to get the support from you guys. 

when i make  a dimension between grids, the witness line is reversed, please see the attached image.

if having any solutions, let me know that.

This looks like it is a type parameter setting. Select your dimension and go to your type properties and edit the parameter called "Witness Line Extension", this is what controls the length of your witness lines in the upward direction.

i have tried a lot more things but it doesn't work. it happens from previous version to current version.

I have just done a test from Revit 2016 to Revit 2017 using Grids and dimensions and it all seems to be fine from my side.

Make sure you have changed your "witness line control" to "Fixed to Dimension Line". This will allow you to manually control the length of your witness lines.

Hv you try to control it from witness line gap to element yet?
