Is there a way to disable the common edges between walls?
I can only set the common edge lineweight once for a view, but then some of the lines are too thick, and others are too thin. For example, when I join 2 walls, I want the common edges between the walls to follow the lineweight of the wall itself (the thickes one). Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks!

There is a check box for Common Edges under Wall Category in VGOs. That not work?
You can also Override Host Layers Cut Line Styles.
If I uncheck it, the common edges will disappear. If I override it (cut > lines), all the common edges will have the same lineweight.
Wait a minute. You want Common Edges the SAME line weight as Walls? If so, why don't you just change the line weight of the Common Edge Subcategory?
I want to set the layers whithin a wall to different lineweights (VG > Cut Line Styles). For example, the structural wall will have a weight of 4, the exterior finish 3, thermal layer 1, and the air layer also 1. If I set the common edges for walls to 4, all the common edges whitin the wall will turn to 4, also the common edges between the termal layer and the air layer (because it is the same function in the host layer styles).
Okay, whatever. Sounds like Parts and Overriding by Element or Filter is the way to go then.
...or Linework Tool.
It works when I turn the wall into parts, but it's a huge workaround if I have to do this for every join.

Agreed. Filters might ease the pain.
A used to have the same problem with columns intersecting with walls, but I fixed it by adding symbolic lines (with the correct lineweight) in the column family. Is it possible to adjust the system family of the walls in the same way?
Can you post some pictures -- or perhaps your RVT with Views setup -- that show what you are doing? Frankly, it sounds a little odd to me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are doing.
In the attachment "Test Revit > floor plan "Niveau 0" I highlighted which common edges have to be lineweight 4, and which have to be lineweight 1.
Thanks for your help! For now, I'm gonna try to fix it by using linework override. If anyone has another idea to override the common edges, just let me know!
I 'm sorry, I can't see what has setting have changed in the attached file.
- Create parts and exclude parts as shown below
- Set Parts Cut Line to 4
- Set the view to show both parts and originals.
