I work for a subcontractor who provides coiling doors on commercial projects. More and more we are seeing requirements to provide BIM objects in addition to standard 2D drawings. While the manufacturers do provide some boiler plate objects, each opening is unique. Therefore, their objects do more harm than good at times. We currently don't have the education or software required to dive into this area yet, but are looking to do so given that often times the pdf updates lag behind the building model updates. So if I can get pointed in the right direction to learn more about it, it'd be greatly appreciated. I suppose my questions are as follows:
Thank you for your time.

Hello, the question is not very clear, but let me try to help...
What I understand is that some people (maybe Revit users in architectural firms) are asking you guys if you have Revit families of your doors, so that they, the Revit users of those design firms, can insert the doors in their projects, and specify your products for their projects. If I have understood that correctly, your company needs to commission someone to do those families, then you put the families in your website, for your customers to download. You guys invest some money in paying someone to do those families, with a potential return of your investment when the architects specify your doors.
