Combining phases - rooms?

I have a multi-phase project that is complete and I am trying to clean it up to be an existing model for that building moving forward. If I start combining phases, what happens to the rooms? Do the rooms stay from both phases that are combined or do the rooms from a later phase stay while the earlier phase delete? Thanks!

The rooms don't combine or delete; they remain based on the phase you're working on

You can vote on these ideas to allow that:

Not being able to change phases of a room or space is a serious lack in capability.
