Hey Everyone!
I'm trying to create a combined parameter (Material: Mark + Material: Location) in a multi-category material schedule and I am getting unexpected results when choosing the desired fields:
The weird thing is that when I open the combined parameter editor and add the fields, 'Material: Mark' changes to 'Mark,' which is definitely not the same parameter. The result is a combined parameter that is only half-baked. I suspect that this is because the schedule is returning the value of 'Mark' (which is null), instead of returning the value of 'Material: Mark.' Anyone come across this before and figure out a solution?

I don't concatenate parameters usually, but "Material:Mark" gets named "Mark" for me as well. Happens with others as well. Additionally, that value doesn't get pulled into the combined parameter.
Following...
Yeah - I was curious whether or not it was specific to my schedule. Thanks for verifying!
Only a selected few among the Material's parameters stick when you add them in a combined parameter. You need to create new user parameters, assign them to material category, then they can be used in a Combined parameter in a schedule.
Interesting too: you cannot insert both Mark and Material:Mark. It's one or the other.
...possibly because it's Friday. I'll try again on Monday.
