Combine two bounded areas separated by another bounded area

If you see the attached image. You can see there are two unfinished areas bounded, separated by finished area boundary, which need to be shown as one row of information with sum of the areas in schedule. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Set the Area field (format tab) to Calculate Total.  Group by Area Name and untick Itemize every instance box.

I can't find 'group by'. Unchecked 'itemize...' and selected calculate totals for area.
