Hi, I have a plan that shows some rooms with the correct colour fill for its department but one room is showing white ( no colour ). We have turned off floors, even checked they are at the right level relative to that particular floor and set the colour fill pattern to `none`. Below is the plan in question. The floor actually is within the red highlighted area which is showing the correct department colours in the circulation and other purple community dental room. Any ideas how to get the office to show purple too other than cheating with a colour fill region!
Can you check and see if the Plan is set to Hidden and not wireframe?
Check and see if you have plan region as other mentioned as well as cut plane. Also check if your color scheme location is set to foreground.
Do you mean the green dashed box? Thats a scope box a colleague did. Made no difference deleting it though. A little lost with this one.
Room is approx 3m high with the view range as per the below. But I don't understand if it was a view range then wouldn't it affect the other rooms too? Also, not sure about Plan region as I believe my colleague just duplicated a floorplan and then created the required template to show the depts.
Not sure what you really mean for your Height Offset point. All walls are at the right height above the level (IE at 0 above the level). The only thing unusual is the orange area is an extrusion that previous colleagues did when drawing the plans over the CAD survey ( its an old 1899 building ). The height of these extrusions does not go up to the floor above and when I change the extrusion end length I get the warning message shown below. Also, not sure how to change Computational Height. Apologies for being a pain!
This project has the floor (finish) set at 130 above the level. I have changed the computational height to 1000 but still nothing showing for the purple dept colour. What I don't understand is why if the floor could be blocking from showing the department colour then why isn't the same floor not doing the same in the other rooms that it is in. Its the same with the a different floor that goes in the other rooms ( which is also set to 130 above level ) as in the correct dept colour shows.
I didn't draw this project just been asked to see why the problem is occurring.
I presume you can't delete the dept colour from an individual room plan - even if the Identity Data still says the Dept?
The floor had originally been turned off. It hasn't made any difference on or off. Still just the one room not displaying the dept colour.
Very lost with this one!
You could share it on the forum, I suspect Toan gets the most questions here already...
