Colour code solutions that are actually just work arounds

Why not give a colour code to solutions that are actually just work arounds. That way you could avoid to read through a lengthy solution that is just navigating users around a problem. Perhaps traffic lights provide an idea.

There are community forums for these kinds of things.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

True, but how do I enter an idea for a forum? The forum as such does not seem to be an Autodesk product. I added this as a Revit idea because that is the board I frequent most. I still think knowing in advance whether a user forum's entry ends up in an answer or a work around is beneficial.

This is a great idea.

Unfortunately I don't think Autodesk will be behind it, as it will highlight just how many of these issues are being worked around rather than solved.

It's a terrible idea. A workaround seems to have different definitions, depending on who you are talking to. Since it is the OP that marks solutions, there won't be any consistency to what is called a workaround.
